Looking for something fun to do on a Friday night? During these COVID times while the weather is still unpredictable and most of us are not yet vaccinated, we are hosting a fun virtual event!
Artist Philip Craig will discuss some of his Tuscan landscape paintings inspired by travels in Italy. He will be joining us over Zoom along his wife Diane, from his home studio on Otter Lake.
Before the talk we will be doing a wine tasting from the Frescobaldi Winery led by wine expert Rachel Matthews. Since the event is virtual, we will only be sampling one wine which can be ordered to your local LCBO. Philip will talk about his history with Frescobaldi.
Join us at 7pm for the wine/cheese tasting or tune in later at 7:30pm for the artist talk (with your drink and nibbles of choice). After the talk, there will be a Q&A (length will depend on time/group size).

Wine: Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi Tenuta di Castiglioni (if you you cannot find this wine at an LCBO near you, grab another fabulous Frescobaldi Red!)
Suggested cheese pairing: Pecorino or Parmigiano-Reggiano (the authentic stuff!), though aged white cheddar will do in a pinch.
Tickets: $20.00 with all proceeds going to the Meaford Food Bank (One ticket per screen)

Rachel Matthews
Rachel Matthews Dip, WSET, is a Brand Associate at Rogers & Company and has worked as a Sommelier and Manager at various Toronto restaurants.
We’ve attended some of her virtual tastings during COVID – they are always a ton of fun and we’ve learned a lot about wine!
