Artist Submissions

We are not actively seeking new artists but we always love to see new work and what artists are doing.

We are also looking for artisans to do pop-ups. This would be for makers who can display work on a table/stand/cabinet, not wall space. If you are interested in having a pop-up, please reach out to us at info@craiggallery.ca or via phone to find out more.

If you are interested in submitting for representation, please do so via email and include all info the following info as laid out below.  Please do not bring your work into the gallery during regular hours.*

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • We are looking primarily for contemporary Ontario artists.
  • Painters, printmakers, sculpture or ceramics.
  • We like to see a consistent body of work with a developed style. We prefer to see new work that is available to purchase.
  • We look for art that compliments what we already have in the gallery, but has it’s own unique style.
We also like to see…
  • If you’ve engaged with us in the past, either on social media, receive our newsletter or have you been in the gallery before, just to check out the art and get a sense of whether your art would be a good fit.
  • If you have a professional website and/or active social media.
  • That you are not already represented by a local gallery.

WHAT NEXT

Due to the number of artists submitting we will only respond if we think you will be a good fit.

We do keep all submissions on file, and if we think your art might work with a group show theme, we will reach out to you about submitting to that. Often we have taken on new artists after a group show.

* We ask that you don’t bring work by in person because it can be very disruptive to normal business. If we like what we see digitally we can set up an in person meeting outside of regular gallery hours.
