Jo Ann Sauks is an artist, working mainly in pastel, who lives and creates on a farm near Massie Ontario. Inspiration for her art comes from many sources but is often rooted in landscape.
She studied art and architecture in the 1970’s and completed a 3-year adult fine arts program at the Art Centre, Central Technical School in Toronto in the early 1990’s.
Jo Ann is a founding member of the Walter’s Falls Group of Artists. The group’s very popular art show has been held annually in August for over 25 years.
Her work is in many private collections.
“Over time my work has become increasingly abstract, it is my response to mood, form, colours and line.”
